All-position stainless steel electrode for welding hardenable steels, 14% manganese steels and “difficult to weld steels” such as carbon steel forgings and castings. Joining of high-tensile, wear-resistant armor plate and building up of railroad rails. Excellent toughness, corrosion and crack-resistant weld deposits without the need for any preheat or postweld heat
treatment. Weld deposits are machineable as welded but they will work-harden up to 52RC when put into service and then no longer
machineable. Most popular applications involve dredging and mining equipment
