The Justrite U251SX5 Type II Safety Can is engineered for the safe storage and controlled dispensing of flammable liquids. With a 5-gallon capacity, this red safety can is constructed from 24-gauge hot-dipped galvanized steel, ensuring durability and resistance to corrosion. It features two openings: one with a spring-closing lid for filling and another with an actuated pour valve connected to a flexible 5/8" metal spout for precise pouring. The can includes non-sparking flame arrestors in both openings to prevent flashback ignition. Its deep-drawn, seam-free body and double interlock, no-weld bottom seam provide leakproof performance. This safety can complies with OSHA and NFPA Code 30 requirements and is FM, UL, and ULC approved.
