All-position, multiple-pass mild steel electrode for producing deep-penetrating welds using small AC welding machines as well as DC units. Strong arc force and fast solidification of weld metal makes out-of-position welding easy. Welds through rusty, dirty, or oily steel or where poor groove fit-up is a problem. Great arc stability, high deposition efficiency, low spatter, and non-porous welds are all characteristics of this electrode.
