The MRD190 is a compact throw bag housing 90 feet of floating rope and designed for use with a life ring buoy. When an overboard rescue is needed, this bag enables rapid, controlled deployment of the buoy via its rope. The included rope is a 3/8″ (9.5 mm) polypropylene floating line rated with a 1,900 lb break strength. Weighing only about 1.65 lb (750 g) including the bag, it features a cinch-strap storage pouch for neat stowage. This rescue accessory meets Sub-Chapter M compliance for marine operations.
