Victory 309-16 3/32" Stainless Steel Electrode, 10# Tube

All position welding of heat resistant 22-25% chromium and 12-13% nickel stainless steels such as 309 to itself, to other austenitic Cr-Ni grades such as 304, 308, 310, 316, and 317, or to martensitic and ferritic grades such as 405, 410, 430, 442, and 446. Excellent for welding dissimilar steels such as mild or carbon steel to stainless steel or for use as a buffer layer on steel parts where the final layer will be a different grade of stainless steel (cladding). Weld deposits exhibit high resistance to cracking and oxidation at temperatures up to 2,000F. Beautiful finely rippled bead that requires no cosmetic work. Common applications include furnace parts, kiln linings, heat treatment containers, forging and castings in chemical, petrochemical power generation and pharmaceutical industries
